Relax and Make Memories | 2 Pages in My Try Anything Mixed Media Art Journal

In today's video, I do 2 pages in my Try Anything journal in which I play around with art supplies and techniques that are new to me and have some fun beyond just magazine collage. I used Apple Barrel paint, gesso, ephemera, washi tape, and more. Most important is that I had a lot of fun with it. :)

Hi, I'm Jenn. I live in a tiny town in Tennessee. I love doing fun and easy art --especially collage and mixed media journal pages-- as a way to relieve stress and give me an escape from my daily grind. I work in a very conservative and rule driven environment. So, these little art projects of mine have become my form of therapy.

There's little better to me than sitting down and ripping up a bunch of magazine pages, getting covered in glue, and splattering some paint and seeing where it takes me. There's no worrying about rules, terms, judgments, or anything like that. I just go with it and have a good time.
