Serpentine Pavilion 2019: Junya Ishigami
Architect Junya Ishigami speaks about his design for the 2019 Serpentine Pavilion. His interest in historic buildings constructed using traditional methods, and how they integrate with the landscape around them, have influenced the shapes and materials used in this design. Ishigami created a structure that resembles a blackbird flying in a rainy London sky.
