MIGRATION CRISIS

Priti Patel has introduced the Nationality and Borders Bill, which could see refugees illegally coming into the UK jailed, and border officers given powers to use force to keep illegal immigrants away. Is this the right approach, and, if it is, is it enough? Douglas Murray, who in this week’s cover piece says more needs to be done, and Enver Solomon, CEO of the Refugee Council, join the show.

A REFUGEE'S JOURNEY

What is it actually like to enter the UK illegally, and what drives people to take the often perilous journey? Katy is joined by by Arwa Omaren, an actress and refugee who came to the UK when ISIS took over her home in Syria.

DODGY MODELLING

To the surprise of many, Covid cases across the UK are falling. Could the pandemic really be coming to an end? Have we reached herd immunity? And should experts have predicted 100,000 cases a day? Professor Sunetra Gupta from the University of Oxford is on the show.

FINDING FREEDOM

Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have announced a four-part book deal. The couple previously said they wanted to abandon royal duties to get more privacy - is this the best way to do that? Patrick Jephson, who worked as Princess Diana’s private secretary between 1988 to 1996, says the pair need to be less confrontational. He’s on the show.

OLYMPIC GOLD

Finally, is winning gold everything? Britain is doing brilliantly so far at the Olympics, but some have said there’s no reason to celebrate winning silver or bronze - gold is all that matters. Is this the right approach? Cath Bishop, who went to three Olympics with Team GB, joins SpectatorTV.
