Many aspects of the shoe design are visible. In this video Bill Bird explains the function of the hidden elements which are some of the most important elements of an orthopedic shoe. For each element Bill explains the how the materials and shapes are adapted for different foot conditions.

• Toe Puffs
• Insoles

These three elements go between the uppers and the lining or between the soft lining and the sole.
