'Mass Casualty Situation' After Plane Crashes Into Stands At Nevada Air Show

The death toll rose to nine in an air race crash in Reno (Nevada) as investigators determined that several spectators were killed on impact as the plane appeared to lose a piece of its tail before slamming like a missile into a crowded tarmac. Among the dead were the pilot and eight spectators. Officials said 54 people were treated at hospitals, nine were in critical condition.
