It's been a bit of a difficult week in the international markets with some major losses registered and a spike in volatility...

With that in mind, I wanted to go over my portfolio on eToro and see how things have been going. I start off by showing my stats for the month of September so far and then begin to analyse where the majority of risk is coming from in my portfolio.

Fortunately, the major sources of risk are from trades in companies where the trader's who've made those trades have already actively discussed the positions and given the case for why the trades are still open. Miyoshi and Jay have both discussed their 'riskier' trades on their respective feeds on eToro and communicated to their investors their sentiment about the companies in question.

I take a look at the risk profiles of both Jay and Miyoshi as well as my ETF traders Balticseal and slow-and-steady. My ETF traders operate differently to my equities traders (Jay and Miyoshi), keeping lower risk profiles, but also showing smaller returns statistically.

All of my traders have surprisingly low max drawdowns and none have been close to triggering the Copy Stop losses which I set for each of them.

Having said that, due to the spike in volatility, i manually reset the copy stop losses for each of the trader sin my portfolio before moving on for a quick look at each of the traders' stats pages and charts to see how they've each been doing.
