How to Horse Sheath Cleaning Part 2 - Locating the Bean - Horse Care - Rick Gore Horsemanship

**Viewer Warning** Graphic and some may find offensive. http://www.thinklikeahorse.org/index.html
This is the second part of cleaning the sheath of a horse. In the first video I talk about cleaning, in this one I get a little more detail about inspecting for the Bean. There are many good sites that explain this in more detail so you search for Sheath Cleaning and locating the Bean. (Yes I washed my hands later) I also discuss this on my "horseman tips" page of my site.

This is responsible horse care, no one likes to do it, but it is a task that needs to be done for the health and care of the horse. It may embarrass you but get over it. Domesticated horses do not breed like wild horses, they do not roam and swim and roll in ponds. Domesticated horses are kept in closed conditions with sand, stall shavings, areas that reused over and over, urine and feces are always around. In the wild horses travel, they don't stand, walk or sleep in areas where they poop or pee. All of these factors increase the need to additional health concerns.
