The Draw

Justin explains the draw technique he uses to shoot a 123# bow.

The military-style "pushdown" draw is an essential part of Gao Ying's Ming Chinese military archery (and any heavy bow variant of traditional archery). This technique will allow you to maximize your body's mechanical advantage in shooting heavy military-weight bows, as well as making lighter bows more comfortable to use.
