Game of Thrones left a lot of people shocked, STILL! A Song of Ice and Fire is the book series that Game of Thrones is based on. In Game of Thrones Season 8 beloved characters didn't match their book counterparts. Some were unrecognizable. Tyrion Lannister was one of them. In the books Tyrion is not the same guy that we see on the show. In Season 5 the show doesn't adapt Dark Tyrion. He's the same guy he's always been but in the books he's a monster. His journey thru Essos he embraces the Demon Monkey! The Real Tyrion Lannister is Dark, The Real Tyrion Lannister is Evil, The Real Tyrion Lannister didn't show up in Game of Thrones. Ever.
