Alex Rudinger - Conquering Dystopia - "Totalitarian Sphere"

Alright lets be real guys... there's something about playing with HUGE toms that absolutely RULES. I mean if that isn't heavy metal then I don't know what is. There is NO WAY this will ever become a permanent thing for me though (Haha), I'm barely 5'9" so I'll stick with my shallow depth 10"/12" setup. But dang, it sure was fun to rock this configuration for a few days.

"Totalitarian Sphere" is from the Conquering Dystopia Self-Titled album that I tracked back in 2014. If you've never heard of the band, C.D. is a side project featuring Keith Merrow, Jeff Loomis, Alex Webster, & myself. We may or may not be doing a new album in the near future too, but that's all I'll say for now! ;)

Shoutout to my friend Steve, owner of this BEAUTIFUL Tama Starclassic Maple drum kit. He let me borrow it for a few days so I could use something different to track some videos with - it had been awhile since I tracked a Maple kit at home, & let me tell you, it RULED !
