Harley Softail Suspensions Upgrade

Here is the installation of Progressive Suspension 422 rear shocks and Legend Axeo fork cartridges on the Harley-Davidson Softail Fatboy. Installation and adjustment of rear shocks on Softail models are rather hard to do because they are located under the engine and have poor access. Installation of cartridges is also complicated by the fact that you need to remove the tank to disassemble the front shield.
We chose the 422 shocks and Axeo cartridges because they both have monotube construction. The owner of the bike rides solo, so he needs to adjust preload only once at installation.
