2020 Abel Prize Winner - Hebrew University's Hillel Furstenberg
The world's top math prize is being awarded to Hebrew University Professor Hillel Furstenberg, the first Israeli to win the prize! The Abel Prize, often referred to as the Nobel of Mathematics, was established to recognize contributions that are of “extraordinary depth and influence.”
