Simple how to: Ford Mondeo & Focus (Duratec HE) oil & filter service

Easy DIY how to: draining and refilling oil and changing oil filter on a Ford Duratec HE engine. The car featured is a Ford Mondeo Mk3 (2000--2007) but the procedure is similar for any car using the Duratec HE, e.g. the Focus Mk2.

You will need:
* Jack & axle stands, ramps, or some other safe way of getting under the car. Do not use the vehicle's spare wheel jack.
* Oil, preferred viscosity is 5w30 for most environments. The Ford specification is semi-synth, you can use full synthetic if you wish. Amazon links:

* Replacement filter of the correct type and size. The Mondeo Duratec engines were released with two styles of filter: a cartridge type (as in the video) and also a spin-on type. The Mahle cartridge used in the video is their model OX 203 D, other brands are fine too.
* Metric socket wrench set, 13 or 15 mm socket head.
* [Possible] Oil filter wrench. You should usually be able to undo the filter by hand.
* Oil tray to drain old oil.
* Container in which to dispose of old oil.
* Funnel.
