For this improvised piece, I made more conscious effort to develop melodies. I'd say the first half of this was more successful in that regard, as I quite liked the melodic motif that occurred in that section. I plan on working on my improvisatory skills, not just for melodies but for more interesting harmonies and rhythms. In any case, the most important element of my improvs for me, is that it is an outlet for expressing myself.
