Consortium of nine NATO allies is chartering up to five Antonov An-124 Ruslan aircraft from Antonov Logistics Salis (Antonov Airlines). A single Antonov An-124 can carry up to 120 tons of cargo.
Contract provides assured access to two Antonov An-124 aircraft on 72 hours’ notice, access to an additional aircraft on six days’ notice, and two additional An-124 aircraft subject to availability.
The consortium consists of nine NATO Allies: Belgium, Czechia, France, Germany, Hungary, Norway, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia.
