Check Out the Gator So Huge, Even Deer Stop and Stare

Just short of 12 feet, people who saw a giant alligator at Fripp Island Activity Center in South Carolina say he was less interested in animals and humans and more concerned about getting to his next pond. The sight of the huge gator was so astonishing that even a herd of deer stopped in their tracks to stare. An expert says alligators are more of a threat when they're in the water, but she recommends humans keep their distance no matter what.
