120FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X (First Experience) Unboxing LG UltraGear Gaming Monitor + More

Trying out 120Hz on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X next gen consoles for the first time. Unboxing LG UltraGear 27" 144Hz 4K Nano IPS 1ms gaming monitor. Primarily a PC monitor but I wanted to try how it works on next gen consoles via HDMI 2.0 port. Razer Wolverine V2 pro controller and Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate PS5 Collector's Edition Sub-Zero mask. Please note: this monitor has 2x HDMI 2.0 ports. According to both, the monitor and the consoles, I was able to run console games at *120Hz 1080p* via HDMI 2.0 port. If you want to run games at 4K 120Hz, I'd recommend waiting for monitors with HDMI 2.1 port (currently not available yet). Keep in mind that realistically not all games on next gen consoles will be able to achieve 4K 120Hz even when HDMI 2.1 monitors become available. On PC however you'll be able to achieve 4K resolution while maintaining high frame rate when using Display Port. Will try this on PC later.
