Rona van der Zander has worked in 8 different countries for NGOs and large companies, which changed her global mindset drastically. In 2017 she founded her own Start-Up “GrowbeYOUnd” which connects young people worldwide. The world is currently facing unprecedented changes – technology is rapidly changing the way we work, communicate and especially learn. That’s why Rona firmly believes that we need fundamental change in our educational systems – from primary school to higher education. But what kind of changes have to be made to better prepare young people for the future? Rona van der Zander is an entrepreneur, business founder and lecturer at various Universities in Europe. She cooperates worldwide with large companies, NGOs and international organisations (including the UN) in the field of innovative education. She is the founder of GrowbeYOUnd, an agency that helps universities and businesses to build skills for the 21st century. Her personal and professional motivation is to enable people to ‘lifelong learning’ to implement sustainable change in our communities.
