The Big Picture Ep 4: Politics of Labor and Reproductive Justice
On #InternationalDayofActionForWomensHealth and as part of our theme this month, focusing on labor rights of women and reproductive justice we spoke with Roula Seghaier from International Domestic Workers Federation, Tejaswi Sevekari from Saheli Sangh and our alumni Youth Champion from Indonesia, Ignatia Glory. From establishing the indispensable role that domestic workers play in the lives of many people across the world, to the human rights violation faced by sex workers due to criminalization of their work in India, to the politics of abortion services being accessible while also restricted for Indonesian women, this was definitely a 'big picture' conversation, proving why reproductive justice is a human rights issue!
