We made this U47 styled valve cardioid microphone using the best vintage parts to provide the best sound.
Neumann/ Telefunken U47 Tube Condenser Microphone U47 was released in 1947 and is to the date considered “the King of All Mics”! It has become the most revered vocal microphone in history, and inspired dozens of attempts to recreate its sound.
Tube: In the heart of our mic is the Original Vintage EF12 that very Big Black Valve made in 1944-1945!!!
Transformer: Original Vintage output Telefunken Transformer
Capsule: High Quality MKL Oktava Cardioid 1,3 inch Capsule (made by the famous Tula Microphone factory)
Power Supply: Custom made PSU in a module body (220-110V AC switchable)

Sensitivity on 1000Hz: 16Mv/pa
Frequency range: 40-15000 Hz
SPL max.: 120db
Self noise on the A- curve: 18db
