Helicopter Performs Extreme Emergency Landing On Mountain

On a cold September morning, a National Guard UH-60 Black Hawk rescue helicopter was called out to assist a severely injured hiker on Maroon Bells, one of two peaks in Colorado’s Elk Mountains. Due to the difficult terrain the pilot had nowhere good to land, and was left with no choice but to try and land on only one wheel.
