First Workaway experience in the French countryside! Agen, Bordeaux | Gardening

Sorry I have been MIA, I have been struggling to juggle work, videos and traveling and just as I thought I might be okay I get the flu! but here is this weeks video. rather late than never, right?!?

This is the start of my French travels! we starting in Bordeaux. I flew in here and took a train down to Agen which is the definition of the perfect French countryside! I am obsessed! this place stole my heart and I am definitely going back.

This video is about my kind of tricky journey there. I completely forgot that there was a Time difference so I didn't plan my buses and trains correctly but thankfully I was able to make it in time for all of them. It was just a bit of a rush.

Bus I took was the 30' direct bus which leaves every 30 minutes from the airport to the station or visa versa. ( I bought my ticket online as I found it easier)

Train I took was the SNCF train ( I bought my ticket online too, but its not that difficult buying at the station once you get the hang of It)... I used these trains for everything and once you understand them its super easy and affordable. plus they have discounts for youth which is up to 26! this was great!

I also added one workday which was a lot more challenging that I thought but so rewarding. It was a week of labour but I really enjoyed it and enjoyed seeing the garden transform.

I am doing volunteer work through workaway. It's an online platform to find people who may need your help in exchange for accommodation and food and even sometimes some money. It's been such a treat to work with different people through this platform and It really helps to keep the travel budget low. I really enjoy it.
