CSO for Kids: Downtown Sounds

What does your neighborhood or town sound like? Many composers have written music about their favorite places, using melodies and rhythms to portray city streets and bustling neighborhoods. Join the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, guest conductor Scott Speck and narrator Shermann “Dilla” Thomas and be transported around the city without ever leaving Orchestra Hall! This kid-friendly program features music by Ellington, Márquez and Tchaikovsky.
