After a number of years in development, SAMI Combat System are excited to introduce our new SELF-PROTECTION Program, designed to support all persons interested in attaining skills associated with the often physical protection of yourself and/or others.

SAMI-X-CORE

This new, modular-based program draws its curriculum from both SAMICS Front-Line (Police, Military, Security) and Civilian COMBATIVE systems currently being taught by SAMICS instructors all over the world, providing simple to learn, effective responses, to modern day threats.

Some special features in the SAMI-X-CORE:

⁃ From the beginning, training is always based on the potential for multiple assailants to be in-play, this changes the dynamics significantly, not just in terms of the applications deployed, but also the underlying tactics

⁃ Realistic scenarios and simulations are studied and drilled, familiarising students with applying the correct response to threats under duress

⁃ The selection and deployment of all protective options are included from the start: you will develop knowledge of mainstream weapons and how to defend against them, additionally you will learn how to use self-defense weapons, and everyday objects, as part of your defensive strategy

⁃ Third Party Protection: The protection of others is a fundamental factor of this program, whether defending friends and family, or good citizenship, it is important to understand how to move to action without putting yourself or others at risk

Why SAMI-X-CORE?

We are very aware of the increase in specific violence levels across the world, and believe we have a part to play in providing something appropriately geared towards dealing with the threats we could encounter in everyday life. All of the content has been designed with this in mind.

SAMI-X-CORE, leverages our latest thinking in threat management, not only in offering practical tactics and techniques, but also in new training methods and program delivery.

The program can serve as a strong foundation for any adult looking to develop simple and effective self protection skills, or an add-on for those looking to enhance their current martial arts and/or combative learning, or for instructors looking for additional knowledge to enhance the capability of their students.
