Drill HACK 1 metal cutting BANDSAW part 2

Hi. My name is Darek and in this video I'll show you how I finished building homemade metal cutting band saw powered by drill.
I could not set the tape so I remake wheel, it was a great decision.
Needed a set of bearings with the housing, for this purpose, I used parts from an old bike frame because I like to use unnecessary things.
I cut a hole in the frame, so that after screwing and welding have an angle of about 50 degrees.

As a base I used a metal sheet thickness of 3mm and squer tubbing 20x20x2 mm.
Blade guides I made with angle 25x25x3, does not look professionally, but it does the job. All bearings are of the same size 8x22x7 mm.

The vice is a Czech company PROMA SV-75 should be biger, but I used which is in the shop. I can adjust the angle from 0 to 50 degrees. With the way mounting vice to the flat I adjust the angle of zero.

Saw frame is quite heavy so I used the spring, so I can lift it with one finger.

With this device you have to be very careful, so I hid the blade and the wheel - I used the speaker grilles that were not needed to me :)

Saw on the film does not cut quickly because almost no pushing it, I have to get used to it :)

It cuts almost perfect, but it still must be adjusted a little bit :)
