New laser guided robotic surgery technology at WPI

A research team at Worcester Polytechnic Institute is developing a process that will enable surgical robots to better measure and control tissue temperature. This breakthrough will allow surgeons to conduct minimally invasive operations more accurately and without causing damage to healthy tissue.
