Left Ear - Alternates between 8-10hz Alpha (Right Hemisphere)
Right Ear - Alternates between 14-25hz Beta (Left Hemisphere)

☞ WHY THESE FREQUENCIES?

The brains of those suffering from depression exhibit lower amplitude brainwaves, and are subsequently deficient in the beta range. The right hemisphere, associated with emotions, needs to be tamed, while the left hemisphere, associated with logic and rational thinking, needs to be stimulated into taking the more dominant role. This may strike a chord with those who are chronically depressed, as irrational thoughts are often a by-product of depression.
