Some of the worst professional sports teams of today at least have some young, up-and-coming stars to build around.

● New York Jets fans can look forward to a core led by Sam Darnold, Leonard Williams and Jamal Adams.
● The San Diego Padres signed Manny Machado and have a top-three farm system in all of baseball.
● The Phoenix Suns have Deandre Ayton, Devin Booker and T.J. Warren…

But some of the worst teams of today are set up for, well, let’s just nicely call it perennial mediocrity...or terribleness. It’s just not going to be a pretty sight for these 10 clubs, to put it mildly.
