Want to treat yourself to natural pickled tomatoes? Then cook them yourself. And most importantly, our pickled tomatoes are prepared without vinegar!

They are an excellent dish and a perfect snack at any meal, as well as for daily breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Ingredients:
Tomatoes - 30 kg
Black currant leaves - 30pcs
Cherry leaves - 30pcs
Horseradish leaves - 10pcs
Tarragon leaves - 10 branches (optional)
Bitter pepper - 1 pc
Garlic - 10 cloves
Dill seeds - 50g (or 7-10 inflorescences with seeds)

Brine:
Water - 15 L
Salt - 900g

A barrel with tomatoes should be placed in a cool room, for example, in a cellar or in the fall on an open or closed unheated balcony. At a temperature in the fridge, tomatoes will be ready in 2-4 weeks. In a warmer room, the barrel can be opened a little earlier.

At temperatures below 0°C, the brine in the barrel can become covered with a crust of ice. But it's not scary. Break the ice and remove the tomatoes. In such conditions, tomatoes can be stored for a very long time. Just make sure that the pickle is not completely frozen.
