2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS MR Nurburgring lap record (on-board) – 6:40.3 lap with Lars Kern behind the wheel. This is the new road-legal lap record for the circuit.

The car was specifically tuned and set up by Porsche engineers and Manthey-Racing, and featured a racing bucket seat. But the standard 3.8-litre twin-turbo six-cylinder remains, generating 515kW and 750Nm. It uses a seven-speed dual-clutch auto and rear-wheel drive.
