House Stark of Winterfell: Their True Purpose? - Game of Thrones Season 8 (End Game Theory)

Welcome back for another Game of Thrones Season 8 End Game video. Today I finally want to discuss the new press release from Entertainment Weekly. A few days ago they gave us a big update about the final season of Game of Thrones. In this article, they confirmed the location of one of the most highly anticipated events in television history: and that is where the major conflict against the Night King will take place. During the off season they made some impressive renovations to the Winterfell set, which will stand in for the main stage for the final season of Game of Thrones. As we all know, House Stark of Winterfell has been one of the most important aspects of this story, not only because most of the main characters come from this family, but also because of their history with the White Walkers. Winterfell was built, and House Stark was founded directly after the Long Night ended. In my opinion, this can not be a coincidence. Not only has Old Nan said the original Night's King was a Stark, but pretty much everything else about this house ties into the Others. As we all know, the Others, also knows as the White Walkers, are directly associated with anything relating to the cold, or winter. This goes for House Stark as well. Their castle is called Winterfell, their house words are Winter is Coming, and even their family sword was called Ice. Why are the Starks and the White Walkers so closely related? Is there more to the story that we haven't been told? Are Jon Snow and Bran Stark destined to defeat the Night King in Winterfell? Let me know what you believe.
