It took me about an hour to perform the upgrade and I edited it down to about 30 minutes. Also, I ended the video before connecting it back up to the TV so all I can do is tell you that everything worked perfectly. It booted right up, took several minutes to initialize and verify the satellite signal. It took several hours to completely fill in the Guide.

After 2 weeks I verified that it was keeping a lot more programs I had recorded than ever before. Such as 64 episodes of Married with Children on top of what we typically kept still getting about 80% full.
