Fursuit Walk at Woodland Park Zoo - First time ever!

We made history in May as nearly 100 members of FurLife: Pacific Northwest Furries, including about 40 fursuiters, did an unforgettable walk around Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle!

Our group and others had tried many times to fursuit at WPZ since 2008 and we finally got clearance this year! We were given some caveats and rules to follow, and the staff and volunteers not only welcomed us with open arms but LOVED our appearance and the smiles we were bringing to other zoo guests too. It was a great day and one of the most memorable meets in FurLife history!

About 6 weeks after the FurLife visit, which I helped organize and run, I returned with two international friends Blusicurl (Singha) and Kitwana from Singapore and Switzerland, and Singha's friend Bravewolf also from Singapore, so I could experience fursuiting at the zoo as well. So many awesome interactions and it was one of the most fun fursuiting experiences I've ever had here locally!
