How to Find Collectors

For many artists today, the difference between a successful, long-term career is their ability to find collectors on their own. Together with gallery representation, or other distribution methods,  having a base of direct buying collectors can be a huge advantage. 

Facebook may fall from favor, galleries can come and go, online sites that once flourished can run into unforeseen problems. This is the nature of things and they happen without artists having any control over the outcome. What you can control is building and maintaining a solid core of devoted friends, fans, and most importantly, collectors.
