Lake Lucerne may not attract similar numbers of tourists as Italian destinations Lake Como and Lake Maggiore, but it certainly boasts rivaling beauty. The steep mountains jutting from quiet shorelines and turquoise water are absolutely stunning. On a hot summer day, there's no better place than to be on or in the water here.
