How to replace Spark Plugs on Honda Fit or Jazz 2009-2013 (Fix P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304)

This is a fast-paced tutorial for replacing the spark plugs on a 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 Honda Fit and Honda Jazz.

This video would also be helpful if you just wanted to find the Honda Fit spark plug location.

Replacing the spark plugs and/or ignition coils is a very common fix if your check engine light is on and your car has a diagnostic trouble code of P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, or P0304.

The Honda Fit is also equipped with a service indicator on the dashboard. If there is a number 4 illuminated on your speedometer the vehicle is recommending you change your spark plugs.

This can be a costly service at the dealership. It takes a bit longer than most cars due to the fact that the wiper arms, cowl trim, wiper washer hoses, and cowl shield need to be removed.

Here is a list of tools I use in this video in order of which they appear: pocket screwdriver, electric impact driver, 14mm Socket, needle-nosed pliers, 10mm socket, 10mm wrench, 6" socket extension (1/4 drive), 1/4" drive flex-head ratchet, 5/8" spark plug socket, 6" socket extension (3/8 drive), 3/8 drive flex-head ratchet.
