Gheenoe Fishin Florida Keys, Jigging The Mangroves, Canals and Bridges

Days 3 and 4 of the vagrant fishing vacation.. Tough fishing all around until we found some fast action on a bridge... Those fish were swimming upside down, all around, and the pelicans were downright disrespectful. The majority of our pelican experiences from this trip werent captured on film but they ruined our good time on multiple occasions. At one point during this trip I caught 5 pelicans on 4 casts, all hooked in the mouth, all while trying to avoid them. We left the keys at the end of this video and hunkered down on the south florida canals as the wind became a major obstacle.

mostly used a stradic 2500 with 10lb braid and 40lb leader for the lighter jigging

used a jiggingworld Shogun with a penn clash 4000 with 30lb braid and 50lb leader for the heavier jigging

Id link some zoom flukes but you arent going to beat the 2.77 price tag at walmart. paying 4.99 for a pack of flukes just isnt right.
