NBC4’s I-Team helps couple recover money from kitchen project

When a Bellflower couple decided to remodel their kitchen, they decided to hire Lowe’s and pay the home improvement giant $60,000 up front.

But the couple says workers stopped showing up even though the job wasn’t done.

The couple ended up filing a complaint against Lowe’s. Even after a state arbitrator awarded them $12,000, Lowe’s still didn’t pay up – until NBC4’s I-Team stepped in.

In response, Lowe’s apologized to the couple for the challenges and delays, saying “customer satisfaction is always the top priority for Lowe’s.”
