Dr Shilpi Mohan is a Cardiologist, holistic healer, tarot card reader, and clairvoyant who is the wife of a serving army officer. In her talk, she has described how she, a small-town girl, being born in middle class family, pursued her dream to be a cardiologist. She got married to an army officer against all odds. Dr Shilpi explains how she has converted her challenges into opportunities. Despite frequent postings, she not only continued her connect with medical profession but also upgraded her skills and diversified her healing armamentarium so as to provide holistic healing to her patients. She is the founder and owner of Ashvattha Cardiac Care, The Angel Healing at Hyderabad. The speaker has been bestowed with multiple awards including Most Promising Holistic Healer 2022 by Zee Health and Most Innovative Women Healthcare Personality of the Year 2023 to name a few. She believes in deciphering her own Ikigai and living a role that is not typecast or stereotypical. She is an influencer, painter, columnist and life coach who wants to reach out to people and lead a life not just successful but significant. She has done super-specialization in Cardiology from the prestigious Army Hospital, Research & Referral, New Delhi. During her tenure, she conducted the first Study of its kind on coronary stents comparing the restenosis rate in the bare metal stent and drug-eluting stents in the Indian Armed Forces. She has worked at various reputed centres all across the country and has experience in this field for more than 15 years.
