Elk and More Elk

This is a herd of Elk that was in our front yard. Initially we thought there were about 25 until something spooked them. We used one of our security cameras to count them which was over 50 but several took shortcuts through another part of the yard. What a sight.

When on the move Elk will eventually walk in a single line and can be totally silent. However if spooked they sound like freight trains in the forest knocking down anything in their way.
