Actress Gillian White recounted an early experience in her career when she was allegedly threatened with blackballing if she refused to perform a nude scene for a film. This was revealed when she was asked if she had ever experienced situations similar to those reported in Hollywood involving inappropriate advances. White stated that during one of her first film roles, she was pressured intensely to perform a nude scene. When she refused, both the production team and her agent allegedly told her she would be blackballed. A traumatic experience for White, it was only resolved when the film director stepped in to support her. The actress highlighted the importance of understanding industry standards, such as having a nudity clause incorporated in contracts, especially for inexperienced actors starting in the industry.
