The Neumann TLM 102 is a microphone I've had my eye on for years. I finally made the decision to buy it, and was not disappointed.

Upon further testing I've come to realise how incredibly sensitive the microphone is (far more sensitive to external noises than any of my other microphones). Cars going past, computer fans, radiator sounds, etc will be audible in any recording, so make sure you have a well treated, isolated room available. If you do, this microphone will bring you a top end clarity and a punchy low end which I'm sure you'll enjoy.
