Can we build a USB 5.25" Floppy Drive?
In this video, I explain my journey to modify an external CD-ROM enclosure to work with a vintage 5.25" floppy drive. Using the DeviceSide Data FD5025 controller to connect to a floppy drive via USB, I finally get this project working. I then evaluate the hardware, documentation and software provided by DeviceSide, and provide my opinions on the experience.
