Hundreds Of Hummingbirds On My Balcony

After feeding them for eight years in this location, my feeders attract hundreds of hummingbirds every day. In addition to the hummingbird feeders, many flowers such as Bee Balm, Salvia, Tecomaria and Fuschia also attract hundreds of hummingbirds to my balcony.

Each week they consume 50 - 90 pounds of sugar out of the 15 feeders that provide them with a reliable source of good, clean food.

Anna’s, Allen’s and Black-chinned hummingbirds are common. Costa’s, Rufous and Calliope’s can sometimes be spotted.

Summer brings the Hooded Orioles that also like to appear on camera.
