The H04 Mini RC comes with an instruction manual, a charging cable, some spare o rings, a pocket clip, a headlamp headband and a quick click mount.

Here’s a quick comparison of the H04 Mini RC to a Nitecore P12 that runs on an 18650 and the smaller keychain sized Rovyvon A3pro. It is 70.9mm or 2.79 inch long and the Body diameter is 23.5mm or 0.93 inches.

The H04 RC weighs just 2.54 ounces or 72 grams with the battery. It has a rugged and virtually indestructible aluminum body with anti-scratching type III hard anodization. It's also IPX-8 rated and impact resistant to 1 meter. Overall this light feels very well made and the button is very responsive and is easy to find by feel in the dark. This light also has a magnetic tail for hands free use and it can also stand on its tail.

Another great feature is that this light can easily be converted into a headlamp with the included accessories. All you have to do is attach the H04 to the headband using the quick click mount.

The H04 Mini RC is powered by an included 1100 mah 18350 battery and it charges via usb magnetic charging which is very similar to the charging setup that Olight uses. All you have to do is move the light and the charger close together and they snap in place. It takes about 1 and a half hours to charge and when the light is on, there’s a small red light that flashes inside the button which indicates how much power is left in the light.

This is the High CRI version of the H04 mini RC and it has a Samsung LH351D 4000K LED and it has TIR optics wide and flood beam. Here is a close up shot and you can see that the H04 mini RC lights up objects very true to their natural color.

There’s two different operating modes on this flashlight. There’s the standard A mode which has two versions of low, mid, high and turbo with pre-set outputs and also 3 different styles of strobe. There’s also a B mode which allows you to edit the brightness levels for each setting.

There’s also a location indicator setting to make it easier to find this light in the dark and a lockout mode to help reduce the chance of accidental activation.

This is a chart showing the different outputs, runtimes and modes. According to the manufacturer, This light is capable of producing 790 lumens on turbo for about 2 minutes before stepping down to 500 lumens for 50 more minutes of runtime.

I took this light out on a little walk for a test drive and here are a few different shots for you to enjoy.

Overall I’m very impressed with this flashlight and will be on the lookout for more from Skilhunt in the future.
