A shorter cable that terminates in a 3.5 mm plug is now available as an accessory cable (#US5X8SHORTCABLE). The challenge here is that it can only ordered from the Sennheiser Sales Department at 860-434-9190 Ext: 1. Also, due to their global agreements they can only ship to an address within the US. If you live outside the US, but have a friend in the US have it shipped to them and then they can forward it on.

On a side note, I get a lot of messages from people asking about how I can afford to buy all these headphones and have time to make all these videos so I wanted to share the answer here.
