Our first attempt at a fire ant nest. It came in at 22 kg and quite sizeable. Yes, we got permission to cast this nest.

Fire ants are a pest in Australia and are actively baited and poisoned by the government. They have a very nasty sting and have been known to kill domestic animals and humans. They are a threat to our life style, farms and native animals. Fire ants are not welcome in Australia.
