The Wheel of Time: What We Know About the New Season

Fans of “The Wheel of Time” have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of season 2. And for good reason! The first season of this well crafted and riveting adventure was all kinds of fun to watch. And, especially for anyone who is a fan of the book series the show is based on, season 2 can’t arrive quickly enough. Fortunately for every fan of “The Wheel of Time”, the wait is over. September, 2023 saw the arrival of Season 2, and it’s a huge step forward in so many ways. In this video, we’re taking a look at what we know so far about what fans can expect from season 2. We go over some of the evolution of the characters, as revealed by the actors who portray them, as well as the introduction of some new (and potentially very scary) characters. We go over some behind the scenes secrets on the creation and logistics of the Trollocs, who, even according to one of the makeup artists, are “nightmare fuel.” We also talk about how the expansion of the baddies to include the Seanchan has not only enhanced just how evil the villains are, but also how their inclusion might raise some eyebrows. Spoiler – they are NOT redeemable characters in the books. We hear about the changes in the physical shooting locations, and in particular one that made it a lot harder for Rosamund Pike and Josha Stradowski.
