Rahul and Anil were hurrying from school one day. They were in a hurry. They had tickets for a movie with their friends. They were late. They were very excited. Suddenly saw a huge crowd and lot of kiosk. They inquired “What happened? Why are so many people her?
One lady has been hit by a bus and is unconscious. “Anil, we have learnt about first-aid in school camp. Let’s do and help the lady.” Anil looked at his watch and replied “We are already late. There are so many people to help. We don’t even know her. Let’s go Rahul.”
“We can see the movie some other time but she needs us now. I am going to help her. You do what you want.” And he rushed toward the crowd to help the lady. Anil went to see the movie and was angry with Rahul for deserting him. When he returned home in the evening, he was shocked to learn that his mother was hospitalized. He rushed to the hospital and met the doctor. “Your mother would have died, if some young boy had not saved her life but now she is out of danger. Anil rushed inside the room and saw his mother was talking with Rahul. He then realized that Rahul had missed the movie and saved his own mother’s life while he had walked away. “Thank you Rahul, you saved my mother’s life. I promised that from now I too will always help anybody in need. I will never run from any responsibility.”
