Food, Your Best Friend: Maintain a Healthy Relationship | Xinan Rahman & Jisu Park | TEDxYouth@AISD
What does it mean to eat “healthy”? How does one develop healthy eating habits? Xinan Rahman and Jisu Park speak about their rocky relationship with food and body image, and the intricacies of how to maintain a healthy relationship with food while balancing challenges that come with being a High School student. Xinan Rahman is an 11th grade student at the American International School Dhaka. Since overcoming his battle with anorexia nervosa, he is a firm advocate of developing and maintaining a healthy relationship with food. A healthy relationship with food can have many positive implications, from one's self esteem all the way to interpersonal relationships. Experiencing them first-handedly, Xinan is eager to spread these ideas to his friends, family, and greater school community.
Jisu Park is a junior in his high school at the American International School, Dhaka. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
